Internal Audit

Our primary purpose is to provide our clients with a comprehensive Internal Audit service individually tailored to meet their specific needs.

Due to the unprecedented rate of change in the NHS it is essential that boards are able to call upon professionals with local knowledge augmented with the ability to draw on their experiences of working across an extensive client base.

The focus of our work is to provide the accountable officer, the board and the Audit Committee with an independent and objective opinion on the degree to which the risk management, control and governance arrangements support the achievement of the organisation’s objectives.

The role and responsibilities of Audit Committees have increased significantly in recent years. We work closely with our client Audit Committees to assist them in discharging these responsibilities. We also offer a range of other services to them including training and awareness raising for new Audit Committee members, and facilitating a review of Audit Committees effectiveness.
